As you go further down, you'll run into a section of bumpers that knock you around if you hit them, and then finally a pair of flippers at the bottom that try to flip you back upwards. The first section is just the static blocks you see in the screenshot. Along the way, pinball obstacles will stand in your way. The goal is to race down the slope to the bottom. This is the game I wanted to make, but the boy wanted to make a score based game. Here are the other mini-games that I have finished so far: This one is called Bumper Knockout, and is pretty much just a lazy re-use of the previous code into a game where the goal is to be the last ball standing. Many of the games will feature the balls in vehicles or other props and I plan on giving them arms and legs, Pac-man style, for when the board game portion comes along. I was reluctant to make a game that may come across as just a glorified roll-a-ball tutorial, but since I'm only one person doing the animations for dozens of games was more off-putting. The step-dad suggested that they all be sports ball instead. We were originally going to make a Teddy Bear model and have them running around in Hamster wheels. Knocking yourself into the water costs you points. When you are knocked into the water you will respawn. Here is the game that I made with him, Bumper Balls: The goal is to score as many points as possible by repeatedly knocking the other players into the water. I am hoping for over 50 mini-games and four boards to play on. In order to teach her son a bit about how games are made, I made a quick Mario Party style mini-game with him and decided to flesh it out. This Christmas I spent a week at my former roommates house and we had a marathon Mario Party session. Sportsball Party (name may change) is a clone of Mario Party. It's easy to get busy working and forget to share. I'm a little late starting on that, as quite a bit has been done. More info will be in a reply below Hi everyone, I wanted to share the progress on my latest game. Opinions wanted on what works and what doesn't: Party animals is now on Greenlight: Update: Sportsball Party is now Party Animals after the creation of the characters below.
